Class description

Monday After School Art Club runs during the term, not including bank holidays from Kite Studios, Off Askew Road. Kite Studios, 3.45-5pm, all materials and equipment is supplied. Half Term - Week commencing 16th October 2023 I also offer classes in my home Studio, in Grove Park, Chiswick, for 10 children each Tuesday and Wednesday, term time only. Each week the children will focus on a piece of art, anything from historic masterpieces to art trending on social media. "Thank you for art lessons. I love it and like learning about artists. Art class makes me feel more confident to learn how to draw better and better." - Tani (age 6) Classes begin with a group discussion on the art and artist, with the children encouraged to share their ideas and thoughts about what they see, what it means and how it makes them feel. Children will then explore new techniques and styles using different materials and media. I use visual aids, step-by-step guides and 1:1 support to guide the children. Who is the club for? The club is for children aged 6-11 years (year 1 through year 6). Art is for everyone, and children who enjoy drawing, colouring, painting and creating will love these classes. The classes are designed to teach children new ways to express themselves in a relaxed atmosphere, improving their natural talents and learning artistic skills. Benefits of art classes Children make new friends, build confidence and learn new ways of self-expression. They gain an understanding of art history and the world around us. The classes expose children to the many genres, medias and are techniques. Throughout the class children have time to reflect in a calm and encouraging environment, allowing them to grow and develop throughout the term. "Thank you for teaching me beautiful art. I love it." - Bay (age 6) What you need to bring: All art materials are provided for you child. They will need to bring their own water bottle and a snack.

Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately due to preparation time, art materials and supplies, rental costs and limited availability, my classes, workshops and clubs are nonrefundable. I am happy to transfer the funds to other classes and clubs, if I have availability. Please view the upcoming classes and contact me (celia@artwithlittlepics.com) if you need to transfer existing classes.
