TERM DATES: 14th September - 14th December 2024. (Saturday's) TERM / TIME: 12 weeks / 10:00am - 11:30am NB: No classes 26th October (Half Term) and 16th November 2024. LOCATION: Grove Park, Chiswick W4 An Ideal art class for young artists, who want to build confidence and knowledge, in a relaxed but structured environment. Each week the children will focus on a piece of art, anything from historic masterpieces to art trending on social media. Classes begin with a group discussion on the art and artist, with the children encouraged to share their ideas and thoughts about what they see, what it means and how it makes them feel. Children will then explore new techniques and styles using different materials and media. I use visual aids, step-by-step guides and 1:1 support to guide the children. WHO IS THE CLUB FOR? The club is for children aged 6-11 years (year 1 through year 6). Art is for everyone, and children who enjoy drawing, colouring, painting and creating will love these classes. The classes are designed to teach children new ways to express themselves in a relaxed atmosphere, improving their natural talents and learning artistic skills. BENEFITS OF ART CLASSES: Children make new friends, build confidence and learn new ways of self-expression. They gain an understanding of art history and the world around us. The classes expose children to the many genres, medias and are techniques. Throughout the class children have time to reflect in a calm and encouraging environment, allowing them to grow and develop throughout the term. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: All art materials are provided for you child. They will need to bring their own water bottle and a snack.

Unfortunately due to preparation time, art materials and supplies, rental costs and limited availability, my classes, workshops and clubs are nonrefundable. I am happy to transfer the funds to other classes and clubs, if I have availability.
